Biography

Dr. Zhou Ning graduated from Fudan University in 2010 with a doctorate degree in internal medicine. From 2013 to 2016, he was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago and Loma Linda. As the backbone of the Cardiac Critical Care Team of Tongji Hospital, Dr Zhou is committed to basic research on cardiac remodeling, myocardial metabolism and heart failure. In recent years, he has published more than 10 papers in authoritative SCI medical journals.
He presided over 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has been involved as experts in project evaluation of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr Zhou also won Top Ten Most Influential Young Cardiovascular Doctors in China in 2018, Winner of the 2018 China Cardiovascular Distinguished Contribution Award for Cardiovascular Medicine, 2017 Great Wall Youth Research Award Champion, Best Scientific Poster Award at the 2016 American College of Cardiology (ACC) Annual Conference and the best abstract of the Chinese papers, 2016 American Heart Association (AHA) Cardiovascular Disease Basic Forum (BCVS-ACRE) "Outstanding Young Scientist". Dr Zhou is the Member of North American Chinese Heart Association / American Heart Association, standing member of Youth Working Committee of Bethune Foundation, Secretary-General of Hubei Alliance of China Green Electrophysiology Alliance.
Expertise: diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, arrhythmia and heart failure, especially electrocardiophysiology and cardiac pacing treatment, including various types of arrhythmia radiofrequency ablation (full three-dimensional), ICD / CRT / CRT -D implantation, pacemaker implantation, etc.
