Biography
Dr. Dima Quraini, MD, is a staff physician at the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Quraini served as Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory and as Staff Cardiologist at New England Cardiology/Steward Medical Group, Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Quraini received her medical degree from Université de Montréal medical. She then trained in Internal Medicine and served as Chief Medical Resident at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts, US. She completed her Cardiology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts, US, where she dedicated a year of training in advanced cardiovascular including 3D echocardiography. Her research on 3D echocardiography has been cited in recent imaging guidelines. Her other areas of interest include cardiovascular imaging, women’s cardiovascular health, coronary artery disease and valvular disease.
Dr. Quraini is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease. She also holds certification boards from the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, as well as traveling.
