Biography

Dr. Khalid Al Faraidy is a cardiologist who also specializes in interventional cardiology. He has been a
professional, dedicated, and consistent success in the healthcare area in Saudi Arabia for more than
20 years, making him one of the most known cardiologists. He is currently the Director of the Cardiac
Center at the king Fahd Military Medical Complex. He is also a member of the Eastern Province
Healthcare Cluster's Healthcluster Committee, as designated by the Minister of Health. He is also the
Director of Cardiovascular Service Line (First Health-cluster in Eastern Province), Chairman of the
Benefits and Compensation Committee, and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee's Advisory
Board. He is a member or participant in a number of medical scientific committees both within and
outside of Saudi Arabia.

He has passed the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. A Royal College
of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada-certified Internal Medicine and Cardiologist, as well as a
University of Calgary-certified Interventional Cardiologist.

All kinds of Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Failure, Valvular Heart Disease, and Hypertension with
Elevated Cholesterol are among his clinical interests.

For his experience and accomplishments in the field of cardiology, he has been acknowledged and
awarded prizes and honours. He was recently honored| with the King Fahad Medical Award "3rd
Degree" for his achievements in healthcare. He also actively supports and participates in medical
humanitarian efforts for the poor and disenfranchised of all faiths.
